Climapod Customer Reviews
WOW. Ice is in my pond and my Clima Pod is telling me it’s time to plant. I only have one vent engaged as there are 5 including the lower slat/window. It is also temp activated. I have had my pod for 7 years and the only complaint I have is that the cat can still open the door with one paw while other green houses by now would have been warped up and inundated with green slime and broken glass. I installed one shelf this year for my strawberries to grow in the roof gutter (see pic). The other shelf is stowed away worry free because all parts are aluminum with stainless steel fasteners. The accessories / refitting options are endless and applicable to any of my growing needs. And I have’nt even washed this pod once. One thing about quality is you get what you pay for and it’s nice to only pay once for a product. This pod, I mounted on 2 x 8 treated lumber and it still holds true to plumb after all these years even on sandy ground and horrible Sultan Wa. Wind storms. I cant thank Clima Pod enough for keeping quality a priority and they still answer their phone after all these years and even remember my purchase. I own a company and could learn alot from them. Thanks again and many years to come.
I just put together a Spirit 7×14 greenhouse for my wife. It took me several days to put it together. It has a lot of parts and they have to go together in a fairly precise order. All the pieces were there, all but two were labeled (and those were very obvious – the two extruded aluminum ridge rails). I ended up with a few extra bolts but not because I left them out. There are several different options for foundation attachment which take different bolts. And it was a good thing because one of them went flying off into the weeds at one point so it would have taken a metal detector to find it.
You have to pay close attention to the instructions or you’ll end up having to take stuff apart again. And did I say there are a lot of parts? This is not a kit for the mechanically faint-of-heart. But I kept noticing as I went along how much thought has gone into it’s design. It’s not simple, but when it’s finished it’s strong and looks really good.
An extra drawing showing how the two plates tying the two modules together at the base need to be in place ahead of time would have been nice. And there’s a pair of holes in two uprights where only one was needed, so of course, by Murphy’s Law I picked the wrong ones and later on had to back that out and fix it (use the upper ones)...
